I have calculated my marks ..I am getting 122 in mains april ...im in home state ..will I get NIT TRICHY? OBC-NCL

Hii Yogitha.Your marks are but good.As per the previous year cutoffs you have a tough chance of getting admission to the NIT Trichy.You should be patient during rounds as you might get it in Spot round,but then you will have to compromise with the branch.You can apply for medium to lower ranked NITs such as NIT Raipur, NIT Surat, NIT Jaipur, NIT Kurukshetra,etc.So,choose the College wisely and be patient.All the best.

If you are getting around 122 marks in JEE mains, then your general category rank would be around 40,000-50,000. With this rank you would not be able to get NIT Trichy despite having state quota and OBC category reservation.
