i have cancelled one higher option from my calicut University ug students portal.but that option is in the waiting list.why?

Recheck your options.
Cancel them again and save the new options.
And save and log out correctly to avoid any inconvenience futher.
If the option remains , it will still be counted , so check it properly and cancel it before the selection of that and you being in trouble.

to cancel isnt clicking delete button and click ok enough??

Recheck , with the dates of edit option , like when they give the edit option date , try then .
But mostly it should be done now only .
