The basic eligiblity criteria  is that you have pass 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subject in both Classes 11 and 12 from a recognized board. Also, the Qualifying Marks are UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% (minimum aggregate marks only for PCB subjects).

Dear Rahul, as long as you have passed all the subjects in 10+2 and scored the required marks against your Category, you are eligible for NEET. You haven't mentioned your Category. Neverthless, for being eligible for NEET, you should score a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. So, irrespective of your Category, you are eligible for NEET. For the benefit of you and lakhs of aspirants, we shall detail the registration process.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Indian Nationals, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals
  • No upper age limit as of now. The Candidate should be at least 17 years by December 31st of 2020
  • You should have completed your 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your Core Subjects.
  • 50% Aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST Candidates.
  • NIOS and Private Candidates are also eligible

IMPORTANT DATES:

Registration Dates: 2nd to 31st December, 2019
Downloading of Admit Cards: 27th March, 2020
Date of Examination: 3rd May, 2020
Date of Announcing Result: 4th June, 2020

Hi,

Yes you are eligible to write NEET exam next year. In order to be eligible to write NEET exam , you need to score 50% minimum in biology, physics and chemistry if you are from general category and 40% if you are OBC/SC/ST. Make sure your age is 17 or above.
