I have completed bachelor of engineering in chemical in GTU with 8.32 CGPA.Am i eligible for masters? And what is the admission process?
Hello,
After finishing their undergraduate degree, many engineering students want to continue their study with a postgraduate degree. The GATE, or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, is the most significant entrance test for M.Tech admission. The GATE test is used to get into M.E., M.Tech, M.Arch, and Ph.D. programmes at IITs, NITs, and other state institutions and colleges.
The GATE exam score can also be used to apply for entry-level positions in the public sector. Many PSUs have signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with the GATE organising body. These businesses use it as a screening technique when hiring engineers.
The following are the GATE exam eligibility requirements:
(A) You should have finished an undergraduate degree programme in engineering, technology, architecture, science, business, or the arts from an AICTE-approved college.
(B) Students in the third or higher years of their examinations are also eligible to take the GATE test.
(C) You will also be asked to participate in papers related to your qualifying degree's subject.
(D) All students should learn about the paper code of their choices, as this is necessary information for completing the application form correctly.
After clearing gate one can get admission in different colleges based on the AIR. Some colleges like IITs, NITS etc need the students to meet certain cpi expectation. Further selection rounds change according to individual institutions.
Hope it helped
Thank you
