i have completed bsc.biotechnology and looking up for masters..which course will have higher career oppurtunities msc.biotechnology or msc.nutrition and dietetics or msc medical biotechnology??
Hello,
If you have completed BSc biotechnology then firstly I would recommend you to give JAM examination to get admission into IITs or IISC because you will have ample amount of opportunities there.
Now coming to your question both the courses are equally important but I would suggest you to go for BSc medical Biotechnology because it is a vast field and if you have knowledge and interest you can execl in it.
Ultimately the choice is yours.
Thank you and all the best.
M.Sc medical biotechnology and M.Sc biotechnology would be great options for future. In coming years, we will see a huge need for good healthcare system and medical infrastructure in our country and not just our country but other countries too because the covid-19 pandemic showed the loopholes in the healthcare system. So,there will be lot of opportunities in near future in the biotechnology field.
Now, if we talk about what are the job options then there are plenty of them and you need to decide which field attracts you more, whether you want to become a lecturer or want to go for research based job or may be PSUs or in the pharma industry
You can apply for UGC NET or CSIR NET examination through which you can get job of assistant professor posts in the universities or to pursue Ph.D. and for research fellowship award. You can also appear in exams conducted for various posts in government sector. All in all its a very rewarding field and you can definitely go for it.
Good Luck
