I have completed btech in instrumentation and control can choose coputer science in mtech?
Hello,
If you have completed your B.tech in instrumentation so if you wan't to go for Computer Science in M.tech then you have to go for gate in Computer Science.
See the branch in M.Tech doesn't depends on the the branch in B.Tech,if you are going for higher studies then you should be having a good interest towards your field.
So yes you can go for mtech in CS.
All the Best!

Hello Satish, Congrats for completing your graduation in Instrumentaion and Control stream, you can do Mtech in Computer sceince, but the problem is it has high competation and you need to do more work hard to understand the stream computer. If you were confidence that you can understand and can do computerscience then you can choose this stream in MTech.
Hello,
It depends on the colleges eligiblity criteria because some college will allow but some wont allow you. But i suggest you if you want to go for software courses then you can opt for VLSI design or embedded systems it also requires software courses. And also i suggest you to stick to your current branch.
