I have completed M.E and wish to appear GATE. What should I Choose as my qualifying degree??

Hello Abirami,
If you have qualified your Masters in Engineering, then while filling in the application form you must choose M.E. only. In either way if you wish to apply for the admission in any institute through GATE again you can go forward. Else, you can prepare yourself for the PSU recruitment through GATE.
You should always go with the current degree you hold while applying for any entrance examination.

There is no option to choose M.E/M.tech.

There is an option of M.Tech/M.E. Kindly check it again in the dropdown.
1.B.E2.B.Pharm3.B.Tech4.Four years B.Sc (Research)/ B.S (post diploma/4 years after 10+2)5.Int. M.E/M.Tech/Dual Degree (after 10+2 or diploma)6.Int. M.Sc/Int. B.S-M.S7.M.Sc/M.A/MCA or equivalent8.Pharm.D/MBBS/Other9. Professional Society Examinations (Equivalent to B.E/B.tech/B.Arch) Only these options are available. 5 and 6 its Integrated M.E/M.tech Not M.E as (4+2)
