es there are good options for you. After completeing this course you can appear for net/JRF exam.
After cracking these exams you will get job of a professor in good colleges. As you are interested in research, You can do Ph.D after yours Masters and can work as a scientist.
Yes the options are good overall as IGNOU is a central university and comes under top 5 distance leaning institutes in India.
