Depending on the exam you wish to register for, exclusive Domicile certificate may or may not be required. For example, if you wish to register for JEE Mains then there is no domicile certificate needed for registration as well as at the time of physical verification after seat allotment. Same is valid for NEET Exam.
Home State quota is allotted on the basis of location of where you passed 10+2 Examination.
However this does NOT mean that domicile certificate is not important but recently it has been optional since all the residential information is available in Aadhar.
