Hello,

First of all you are not eligible to appear for NDA (National Defense Academy) exam, conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). You will be selected in two wings through NDA exams i e.-

1. The Army Wing of NDA

2. The Air Force and Naval Wing of NDA and 10+2 cadet entry scheme at INA,

Now I am mentioning the basic eligibility criteria for both wings-

1. Army Wing- passed class 12th or equivalent exam from a recognized board of India

2. Air Force and Naval Wing- passed class 12th class or equivalent from a recognized board of India with Physics and Mathematics.

Now let's come to the number of attempts you can give for NDA exams. Well, there are no cappings or restrictions that stops a candidate from appearing in NDA exams. You can give as many attempts you want but you can give attempts as long as you fulfill the age eligibility criteria, have a look-

1. For NDA 2, candidates must have born not earlier than January 2, 2002 and not later than January 1st, 2005.

2. For NDA 1, candidate should not be born earlier than July 2nd, 2001 and not later than July 2004.

If you have passed your 11th and currently in 12th then you can also apply. Age matters the most here.

Good luck.
