Being an Arts student you have a variety of career options. But as you are more interested in history, I would suggest you to opt for teaching because people who have interest in theory subjects can become very good teachers. For this you can do B.A. in History and afterwards go for Masters and Phd. In the same.

But if you want a career option other than teaching then you can do B.T.T.M which is Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (don't get confused) I suggested this to you so that you can stay to historic places while doing this course keeping in mind your passion about history.

Other than this you can do B.J.M which is Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication. You can look for colleges which offer history as a major subject while doing Journalism and go for it.

Though I mentioned later 2 Courses but still I would suggest you to go B.A.

In the end of the day it's completely your choice what you have to do and who knows you find passion in a different field. Try experimenting with things.

As you are intrested in history there is.many courses you may pursue after 12 or after graduation .. like if your take Hons in history as your undergraduate and then master on it and then phd then you can go for a professor in any givt colleges .. and after graduation you may prepare for a civil service examination and qualify it as for UPSC exam for IAS and IPS the history is the main subject if you jave a strong intrest on it you may get good chance to qualify the exam

Lets  take example pf a topper of IAS exam TINA DABI she was a history student who done her graduation in history hons .

SO with my suggestions go for on your intrest
