Hello dear,

Both are good and have great carrier opportunities in future but it totally depends on the students knowledge and interests. If you wants to gain knowledge about pure science & theoretical knowledge then you may go for BSc but if you are interested in more of practical knowledge, technical knowledge . then  go for B.Tech instead of BSc. A common misconception is B.Tech  is better than BSc , while a few confident students stick to BSc as their career goals are clear..

Opting BTech is a better option than BSc after 12th with PCM because after btech there are many options in front of you. For doing BTech you have to fill the entrance examination forms of different colleges offering BTech course such as JEE, VITEEE, WBJEE, ETC.

Hello

I can pretty well understand your dilemma in choosing in between B.Sc and B.Tech.

B.Sc mainly deals with theoretical aspects of the subjects and will provide you with core knowledge of the subject you are taking up as your honours. For example- Maths, Physics or Chemistry in your case. If you're too much into a particular subject and want to learn all the science behind it and get deep into it, I would suggest you to go for B Sc. This will be research based and more rigorous.

B.Tech however is more practical orientated where the focus is mainly on the applications. You might not get deeep knowledge about the core science subjects but you will definitely learn the parts required to master the department or discipline that you choose. B.Tech is suggested if you want to be more industrial person.

It completely depends on how you want to go about your career keeping in mind your interests.

Hi

Bachelor in science is more of a research oriented course. It is pure science, the subjects which you study in this are more of a classical. By pursuing this course you can end up as a researher. If you opt for physics it will be more of mathematical. The duration of course is 3 years.

Whearas Bachelor in Technology the candidate applies the priniples of basic science and creates the new technlogy. Here the job of the Enginner is to design new product for society.
