I have completed my 12th in 2 attempts , am I eligible for CLAT and AILET ?

The eligibility criteria of CLAT 2019 mentions criteria for admissions into the NLUs which include minimum academic qualifications, marks and age criteria needed for applying for the law undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. According to the CLAT eligibility criteria, the candidates need to qualify 12 th board examination with at least 45 per cent marks in the aggregate of subjects.

NLU Delhi has announced the eligibility criteria of AILET 2019 along with the application form. According to the AILET 2019 eligibility criteria, the following candidates will be considered suitable to apply for the B.A LL.B programme.

Candidates need to have completed 10+2 with Senior Secondary System or equivalent examination from a recognized board

Candidates should have minimum 50 percent marks in his/her qualifying examination

There is no age bar for candidates who wish to apply for AILET 2019 as per the Supreme Court’s stay on age bar in 2017

Candidates appearing for Class XII examination are also eligible to apply for AILET 2019
