Hello Prem,

The students of open learning school like National Institute of Open learning are very much eligible to take admission in different medicinal courses like MBBS, BHMS, BDS etc by appearing for the NEET exam.

So , there is nothing to worry if you have done your schooling from NIOS. You can give this exam after meeting the required eligibility criteria like you must be above 17 years of age, you must have scored more than 50% marks in physics, chemistry and biology.

So, to prepare for this exam firstly you have to read the syllabus of the exam and understand it. Then you have to decide your booklist which you are going to use for the preparation of this exam. After these two things, you have to analyse very carefully the previous years papers of this exam and you have to understand the demand of the exams, what type of questions they ask in this exam.

After you are done with these things, then start studying and firstly you have to clear your concept in each and every subject and focus on the theoretical parts of the subjects and when you are done with one topic or subject, try to solve questions as much as you can. Remember two things, revision and practice is the key to get through any exam. Give as many mocks as you can and try to analyse your mistakes in those mocks and then strengthen your strong areas and improve your weak topics.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you!

Give ample no. of mock tests of standard coaching institutes in a time bound manner and make a mistake book in which you'll write all your mistakes while analysing the paper .

Don't get distracted ! For this time ,get rid of all your distraction .

Know about your body clock and have a proper sleep-wake cycle . Your health is of prime importance during the preparation. Also have proper and healthy meals regularly.

You can also join some online or offline classes for learning and strengthening concepts and topics .But always give your self-study the prime importance.
