Eligibility for M. Tech. in Textile Technology & printing technology

Candidates wishing to apply for the course need to meet the following minimum eligibility criteria:

A minimum aggregate score of 55% at the level of graduation (B.E./ B. Tech. or equivalent subject) in a relevant discipline completed from a recognized institute. (For IITs and ICT, the minimum percentage required is 60% at the level of graduation).Besides a GATE qualification, candidates need to have completed graduation in any of: Textile TechnologyFiber Science and TechnologyTextile ChemistryTextile EngineeringComputer Engineering Fashion & Apparel EngineeringJute and Fiber TechnologyCandidates having a Master’s degree in Chemistry or Mathematics are also eligible to apply.Candidates awaiting their final year’s exam results can apply too on a provisional basis. Admission shall be confirmed on the basis of performance in graduation.
