I have completed my board exams.I want to study aerospace engineering. what are eligiblity criteria and which entrance test should i give?
Hi Sumati,
As you completed your boards exams now its time to appear for entrance test. As you want to study aerospace engineering, you have to appear for JEE Mains which is an entrance exam for persuing aerospace engineering. If you cleared JEE Mains then you will be eligible for JEE Advance. Aerospace engineering branch is very rare in colleges like some IIT's, NIT's, Govt. institute.
Eligibility :
Candidate should have minimum 50% marks in PCM group. To get admission in NIT, a candidates must secure at least 75% marks in 10+2 exam (65% for SC & ST category) or be in top 20 percentiles in 10+2 exam conducted by respective boards.
Hope you understand this. All the best!!
Hey there buddy admissions to aerospace engineering involve Common Entrance Test (CET) based selection method as well as merit-based selection a criterion that is the percentage of marks obtained at 10+2 or equivalent level by you. Colleges and Institute that provide admissions through CET mechanism rely on the score of All India Level common entrance exams like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, UPSEE etc while some of them go for a separate entrance exam of their own like BITSAT, LPUNEST etc, Hope this helps, Good luck
