I have completed my BSc honours in chemistry so I want to get admission in lateral btech in chemical engineering in VIT Vellore. Please tell me what is the process and which subject is needed to get admission exam?

After bsc. You can go for your b.tech
You can contact the vit college directly and ask all the proses .
For admissions, you need to appear for Exam conducted by VIT for lateral entry programme. Then you are eligible to take admission in VIT colleges.
The btech course duration is 4 years . You go through lateral so it's take 3 years
VIT offers admissions in Engineering courses through Direct Entry in Second Year Programme. You must be eligible to take admission in lateral entry process with these Candidate should have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 60% marks or equivalent from approved college by AICTE.

Dear aspirant,
There are many colleges which offers lateral entry in india but I don't think it is offered in vit vellore. Vit vellore takes admission for full four year course for BTech degree.
SRM University does offer lateral entry to its campus so you can take up there . I would suggest you that kindly choose wisely which college which branch you would prefer because it will play a vital role in your future.
