BITS Pilani, does not offer M.Tech course. It offers M.E(Hons) courses.

Admissions are based on the performance of the candidates in the computer based online test and/or written test, group discussions and interviews conducted by BITS at its campuses/any other places.

The final selection is based on the performance of the candidates in the tests, group discussions and interviews.

Gate Score

BITS-Pilani, conducts separate exam for Higher degree, similar to first degree courses. Hence GATE exam marks are not considered for admission in to Higher Degree.



For admission to Higher Degree programmes leading to M.E./M.Pharm. candidates have to appear in the Online tests conducted by BITS at designated centers in different cities (See the advertisement and the detailed brochure available at the website while applying online) and the admission is made on the basis of the performance in the online test subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
