You need to have a graduation degree.



All candidates must have as a minimum one of the following educational qualifications:



A degree from a Central, State or Deemed university



A degree received through correspondence or distance education



A degree from an open university



A qualification recognized by the Government of India as being equivalent to one of the above.

Paper 2 - CSAT (Comprehension, aptitude, decision making questions)... Whereas Mains has total 9 paper (1 essay paper, 1 Hindi & 1 English paper, 4 GS paper, and 1 Optional paper with two paper (paper I & II))...

• Starts reading NCERT books (VI-XII) for basic understanding so that you will be habitual for more readings.
• If you have interest to learn so many things from different fields then i am sure you will enjoy your preparation with NCERT Books. The fact is language & the way of explaining things in NCERT books is so simple & interesting. Everyone can understand easily.
• Along with this, try to read editorials from the hindu newspaper. not just read, try to grasp about which it is explaining. just remember some key facts from editorials like reasons, consequences, prof/con. of something. from this thing, your reading comprehension ability will also enhance which will be the plus point for your CSAT paper 2.
• Don't take all these things like a burden. After sometime you will feel some confidence. once you start your preparation taking it in interesting way, your confidence will be boosted.

To be eligible you need a graduate degree in any stream.

You should be between age of 21 to 32 years. There is a relaxation of age for reserved category.
