I have completed my master degree in chemistry , can I apply for only csir net or UGC Net exam ?

Yes, you can apply for CSIR NET Exam & UGC NET Exam. But, CSIR NET Exam is conducted in chemistry subjects (Science stream). So, it will be beneficial for you to appear in CSIR NET Exam.

If you have interest in becoming junior research fellow or assistant professor in Chemistry, then CSIR UGC NET is the better option for you.
Candidates having or pursuing their Masters’ degree in Science Stream are only eligible to take CSIR NET exam.
They should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in Masters’ if they are from General/ OBC Category or if they belong to SC/ST/ PwD categories they should have scored minimum 50% aggregate.
To apply for the CSIR NET exam candidate’s maximum age should be 28 years. SC/ST/OBC/PWD/female applicants have up to 5 years relaxation in age criteria.
For Assistant Professor, there is no upper age limit to apply.

Yes, as per your educational qualification you are eligible to appear only for the CSIR NET.
CSIR NET exam is conducted only for the science background students where as UGC NET exam is conducted for non-science students
To answer the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) exam a candidate must possess M.Sc. or equivalent degree/Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/B Tech/B. Pharma /MBBS with at least 55% marks to be eligible to apply for the exam.CSIR NET Exam will be held on 16 June 2019. So in my opinion you are eligible to apply for CSIR NET exam.
