I have completed my masters in mathematics but want to switch to physics..so can i sit in exam of csir net for physics (physical sciences) what are the problems i will face ahead...like is it important to have masters in same subject when you're going for phd.

For applying in CSIR NET physical science candidate needs a degree of M.Sc. in Physics or BS-MS in Physical Sciences or any other equivalent degree.
