I have completed my mechanical engineering and i want to do ms(abroad) in software like linux os , can i have chance to do like that
Yes, you can pursue an MS in software with a focus on Linux OS after completing a degree in mechanical engineering. Many universities accept students from diverse engineering backgrounds for their software and computer science programs, as long as they demonstrate a strong interest and foundational knowledge in the field. You might need to take some prerequisite courses to build your software skills, especially in areas like programming, algorithms, and operating systems. Additionally, gaining some practical experience with Linux and other software-related projects can strengthen your application. Researching specific programs and their requirements will help you tailor your preparation and increase your chances of admission.
Hi Anirudh,
I would like to tell you that it is completely possible for you to do that. The only thing you should keep in mind that whichever course of software you choose just check that there are some subjects in the course that you have studied earlier or are related to some extent. Because this enhances your chances of visa and if you take subjects completely different then that can actually cause your visa rejection.
To get the best course available of your interest, you should search online or go visit an international education counsellor.
Good Luck !!!
