All the state boards conduct lateral entry test every year for admission of diploma students in state engineering colleges.After the exam and result ,the boards conduct counselling .Based on that students can take admission and for that you will have to refer the official website of state boards like:jcece,bcece etc.
There are some private universities which takes their own entrance exams .You can appear in them as well like:
Delhi Technological University
Manipal institute of Technology, Karnataka
Netaji Subhash Engineering College, Kolkata
Jamia Millia Islamia
Amity University
All you need to apply for LEET entrance test by these institute.
