I have confusion between b.arch and b.tech. which is best. which has scope. what is fee.
Hii
Actually every one has the same type of confusion., but present scenario btech has large scope compared to barch in India or in abroad.
The fee is depends on the Institute which you have selected. Normally b. arch has 30000 and b. tech has 60000.
In b. Arch you does not have scope on all fields that means you are restrict to some fields only.
In b. tech it is your wish you can go amy field like software, hardware, telecom etc.,
I hope this information is clarity to choose your course.
All the best for your future.
Hello Ameer,
B.Arch has its own scope and opportunities namely into Environmental Planning, Building Engineering, Urban Development Management, Architecture conservation, Regional Township and Country Planning, Industrial planning.
The salaries for freshers are 40percebt lower on average with Engineering freshers from B.Tech/BE.
Junior Architect :15-20k
Junior Engineer: 25-35k
Moreover, the opportunities for B.Arch students are restricted to few sectors and hence, overall limited scope is available domestically and Internationally..
On contrary all Engineering graduate have array of jobs into all sectors namely Pharmaceutical, Telecom, Real Estate, IT, E-commerce, Metals and Mining, Defense and Space and hence the overall demand is much higher for B.Tech grads specialized from top IITs, NITs, GFTIs, IIITs.
I hope your question has been answered properly.
All the best !
