Hello,

UPSC is not only one of the most prestigious exam but also with increasing time,it's getting competitive, also the syllabus is extensive unlike in case of other exams such as banking, ssc or insurance etc. I think you should introspect a bit here, what went wrong, was it something you went close to prelims cut-off and couldn't qualify, was it mains or interview, also you have to understand whether you still want to go for it, preparing for UPSC is never an easy task, it tests your perseverance big time, If you're confident about pursuing UPSC ahead, then you can start teaching not only with your graduation subject but having experience of preparation of UPSC is huge thing in itself,in fact so many people who somehow couldn't qualify but have used that knowledge in some really good work, perhaps doing something apart from UPSC will also ease your mind, of course you can also go ahead with your preparation simultaneously.

If you feel you no longer want to prepare for UPSC,you can go for higher studies pursuing Master's Degree and qualifying NET or SET, you can do BEd if you want to teach at school, based on eligibility of graduation there're other competitive exams as well RBI Grade B, Nabard Grade B, SBI PO/ IBPS PO, insurance exams for officers, or SSC CGL.
