I Do not think that it is a right decision , because you are completely moving opposite of the flow . If you are going to done JEE mains it almost going to take one and half years for preparation for this course, After that you will take admission in any engineering college that course will take almost 4 yrs of duration.
But over all its your decision
According to me you should pursue your carrier in another field
