Yes, you are eligible for pursing an MBA at IILM Gurgaon .
IILM Eligibility criteria
To get IILM Admission 2019, the students must ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements set by the IILM. Following is the eligibility criteria:
- The students must have a degree in any discipline from a university recognized by AICTE/ UGC/ AIU.
- The students must obtain a minimum of 50% of marks.
- Those who are in their final year of graduation can also apply for the PGDM courses.
- IILM accepts the scores of CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ ATMA. So the students must appear for anyone out of the aforementioned exams.
- The students who have work experience and additional qualification will get extra weightage

Yes definitely you are eligible for doing MBA from IIMs. There is no restrictions for the graduation stream in order to pursue MBA degree from IIMs or any other college.
You don't need to have a commerce background for MBA. Commerce background do give ls you an edge as you have a prior knowledge after enrolling in college but you should know in IIMs 80-90 % of students are engineers and all of them are successful in one or the other way.
Also you are a non engineer so you will get an advantage of extra marks in your aggregate score which is used to call students for interview round. This is done in order to promote diversity in their college.
Now regarding stream selection, it completely depends on your interest irrespective of your graduation degree. If you get enrolled in IIMs you will get a whole year to study subjects from all the streams and then choose your own subjects from the stream in which you want to do major in 2nd year.
So don't worry about streams and you are completely eligible only you need to have above 50% in 10th, 12th and graduation marks for general, OBC category and 45% for SC/ST category in order to sit for CAT exam.
