I have done b.tech in computer science .Can i do msc in chemistry ? Suggest me best college in ernakulam
you can do MSc in chemistry after the completion of any course by having an acceptable rank in IIT JAM exam for having admission in top most colleges but for the eligibility criteria of IIT JAM a candidate must have cleared his /her bachelor degree with chemistry subject studied in 3 years i.e, in 6 semesters but in Btech in computer science and engineering you study chemistry only once so you can not do msc in chemistry for that you need to do a bachelor course which matches the eligibility criteria of IIT JAM and a direct way to have admission in msc chemistry is that you do BSC in chemistry and then after you can easily go for msc in chemistry, and a Btech computer science student can do MSc in mathematics for which a candidate should have to study mathematics in 4 semester,
Best of luck
hi,
sorry to say you are not eligible to apply for msc in chemistry. the basic eligibility criteria for msc in chemistry is you need to pass bachelors courses in chemistry from any recognized university. for exams like iit jam it is required to have completed the b.sc courses in chemistry and should have mathematics as a subject in 10+2 level.
hope you may understand.
