As you said, you have completed your 12th. You can apply for various other exams conducted by the staff selection commission . But for applying the SSC CGL exam, you have to complete your graduation degree with any stream. You can apply for various “Group B’ and ‘Group C’ posts in ministries and government departments.

• For applying this exam, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

• Age Criteria is different for different posts. It should be in the range of 18-27 years, maximum 30 years for some posts.

However, the eligibility criteria vary as per some specific posts.  For example, to be eligible for Junior Statistical Officer post, you will need to have either Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with minimum of 60% in Mathematics in Class 12th or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects in graduation.
