Hello Aspirant
A degree in Mathematical Science is known for combining classical Mathematical approaches and newer, modern approaches. The syllabus, if I'm not wrong, comprises of statistics, calculus, analysis, numerical methods, differential equations, algebra, geometry, probability, and statistics. All of these align with, if somewhat, with a basic BSc Math Hons syllabus.
The eligibility for enrolling in a BEd course for Math is you should have a degree in BSc Math, statistics, data science, engineering, or computer science from a UGC-recognised college with 60% above aggregate. If you fulfill the percentage criteria, then yes, you are eligible to do BEd in Math.
Your course actually seems more relevant for BEd Math because, through Mathematical Science, you get to know what actually goes on when studying math and how classical and modern approaches can come together.
Hope this helps
