Let me help you clear your doubt regarding this. Hotel Management is the studies carried out in the hospitality and tourism industry. As India is growing well in the tourism sector there has been a high demand in the youth to pursue hotel management. Hence for joining this field, you should possess the minimum eligibility criteria of:

a. Min 10+2 level studies, but if you have a diploma degree or have undergone any degree course you are eligible for pursuing hotel management. In addition to these conditions to be taken care of are;

The diploma should be a minimum of 2 years duration or for students pursuing the degree course, it should be a minimum of 3 years duration.

If you are really interested in going for hotel management studies the selection of a good college is a prior requirement. This is done usually by a common entrance test for hotel management NCHMCT JEE but having the limitation of upper age limit as 22 years. This exam is usually held in the month of April and requires a sound knowledge of English, Reasoning, general science, and General Knowledge.

After you qualify the written part you have to undergo the Group Discussion and Personal Interview conducted by the respective institutes. The main focus should be given to good communication skills.
