I have done diploma in Mining & Mine Surveying, so which short term certificate courses can I do.

My recommendation would be to do B.Tech or B.E since you've done your diploma already. Metallurgy would be a good option for you. You'll be allowed lateral entry. Which means you can directly join second year without having to clear first year. For metallurgy NIT Trichy is a good option.
