I have done master in philosophy. Can I teach high school students. If yes than which subject I can teach?
Hi, a master's degree is a starting point for a career in teaching philosophy. For students who wish to teach at four-year colleges and universities, a master's degree is a stepping stone to a PhD, which is normally required for tenure-track positions at universities. Now, if you are soley interested in teaching high school students, there are subjects like Ethics. or Political Philosophy, but for a Masters in Philosophy, I would recommend teaching in colleges and universties, as they provide specialized subjects for a person with your degree. Hope this helps!
Dear candidate,
Yes, you can teach high school students. But you need to get started by teaching people in the subjects you are comfortable to teach. You must be knowing deeply about the subject you are choosing to teach. You can get an idea of the same by applying for teaching positions in various education sites like great learning, udemy, Coursera etc. By this you will get exposure and you will know which topics you can teach. I am but afraid that I can not suggest the subject for you, because that is a choice you can make. You know yourself the best, it's better if you find it inwards(if you ask yourself this question)
Thanks for visiting this site.
