Apeksha, every State has its own domicile rules. For example, States like Punjab and Delhi allow students who have completed their 12th in their States to participate in the State Counselling. That is called Institutional quota. But States like West Bengal, Tamilnadu and Karnataka insist that a Candidate should have lived and studied in their state for atleast a period of 6 years to be eligible for participating in their State Quota. So we need to know the States here. We need to know the State you actually belong to, the State you did your 10th from and the State you did your 12th from. Can you let us know these details please?
Hello,
There is no problem at all if you have completed your 10th and 12th's schooling from two different state as long as you are eligible to appear in the examination according to other criteria like minimum percentage and age that's all.
All the Best
