I have done my b.sc in maths stream I am confused what I should do b.des or m.des ?

Eligibility Criteria for admission to B.Des programme is, candidates should have passed 10+2 from any recognised board. For admission in NIFT, entrance exam is conducted for admission.

You are also eligible for admission to M.Des (Master of Design) in NIFT. Candidates who have completed  Undergraduate Degree in any discipline from any Institute / University recognized by law in India are eligible for admission to M.Des programme.

It should be noted that M.Des is an advanced course and the course demands an understanding of fundamentals in design and presupposes that candidates would be familiar with the basic skills and theories for successful completion of the programme.

If you are interested in Design courses and have the required skills then you can opt for the programme as per your interest. But, go for the Postgraduate programme only if your fundamentals are clear or else opt for B.Des programme.

For eligibility into M. Des you shall need B design as degree.

However design course is completely different from Bsc Mathematics.
