BVSc, full form Bachelor of Veterinary Science, is an undergraduate course of 5 years in the field of veterinary science that aims to impart the knowledge required for nourishment, treatment, and breeding of animals.
To get college to read bvsc course you should appear for the entrance exam. Earlier there was AIPVT but now it is replaced by neet. Neet provide addmission on 15% seats of all govt vertinary college's in india. There are different other entrances exam are also conducted for this course. Some of the entrance exam are RPVT for rajsthan, BHU UET, AAU VET, UP VETERINARY entrance exam, OUAT. There are other state which take admission on the basis of neet entrance exam only like Karnataka,bihar etc.
So NEET is one of the most important entrance exam which you should appear and score good marks to get govt vertinary college's to read bvsc course.
However, to be eligible for the entrance examination, one must have a minimum score of 50% in class 12th with physics, chemistry and biology as compulsory subjects for general category student.
