Distance education is valid for appearing for the government exams.But you must be passed from a reputed university , distance education is equivalent to regular studies but you need to pursue it from reputed institutes.

if not petty sure abiut but you have to start filling the appliaction for that . it will be more practical for you chance are 50-50 you have to crack the exam as well to do so. ask anything you want to ask.
