I have done my Master's in biotechnology but I also have a diploma in forensic science. If i qualify UGC NET forensic science, can I do PhD in Biotechnology?

Yes, you can do your PHd in Biotechnology. Students who clear UGC NET/JRF gets grant from the government. However, if you have a strong proposal or thesis of your PHd work, you can get admission into any university. First, see for that university conducts any entrance exam and appear for it. Not only UGC NET is the method of getting admission into PHd.
