You can take UGC NET in Management as well. It just widens up the oppportunities. There are many organisations like vizag steel, power grid etc who recruit HR personnel from UGC exam. Do check them out. The notifications for these are already out, do check if they are asking for any specific option in UGC. As far as I remember, they would generally ask management only.

As you are mentioning that you studied marketing as a major subject in MBA and HR as the minor subject, it allows me to think that you may have more knowledge of the marketing subject than HR. However, the question is which subject you like the most? You may have studied marketing as your major but it’s quite possible that you are interested in HR. So, choose the subject as per your level of knowledge on the subject and your interest.
