I have done my schooling from jharkhand and I do have a domicile certificate of jharkhand.... I wanted to know if I could avail a domicile certificate of West Bengal as my father is working in West Bengal and if yes can I avail for the 85 percent state quota for 2 states in neet 2020?please do help.

Dear Kirti, West Bengal has changed its domicile criteria. Now if you want to claim West Bengal domicile and their 85% State Counselling eligibility, you should have studied in West Bengal for a period of 10 years. Now if you have studied in Jharkhand and you have a domicile of Jharkhand, though a student in general can claim domicile of 2 States, you cannot in your case.

Hello student It doesn't matter where your father is working or living you can only avail domicile from where you did your class 12 and that'll help you to secure seat in any state college.
