You cannot get admission in third year of MBBS, there is no such lateral entry option in case you meant that unlike in case of BTech, if you want to pursue MBBS you need to appear for NEET as it's national level entrance exam for admission all over India, since last year AIIMS and JIPMER exam have been scrappred and admission to these respective institutes too is done through NEET,in order to appear for NEET you are required to pass 10+2 from a recognized board with physics, chemistry, biology and english as core subjects, and secure 50% aggregate in PCB Inclusive of theory and practical in case you belong to UR, for SC/ST/OBC it's 40%, for PwD it's 45%. generally NEET is conducted in the first sunday of May, but this year board exams have been shifted to May , hence the change in schedule for NEET is expected, NTA is the conducting authority regarding this, you can stay updated at http://www.ntaneet.nic.in/ for latest updates regarding this.
