Students who have finished the 12th grade with 50 percent marks in physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, and English, 45 percent for PWDs, and 40 percent for OBC SC ST students are eligible to sit for the NEET Exam for MBBS BDS Ayush and other medical programmes.

Student who has passed 12 examination with physics, chemistry, biology/ biotechnology and English with 50% marks for general category 45% marks for PWD and 40% marks for OBC SC ST candidates are eligible for appearing in NEET Exam for MBBS BDS Ayush and different medical courses.
For the year 2021 the the application is released in the on 13 July 2021 and the exam will be held on 13 September 2021 in leave of or instead of August 1 ,2021. Yes, it's okay even if you have studied biology as an additional subject later on separately after your 12th , you are eligible for neet examination with it.
This is because,
The eligibility of students with Biology as an additional subject is in the supreme court but until it gives its judgement students, these students are eligible for neet
Here's the eligibility criteria for NEET :-
-----------)Qualification required:-As per Neet eligibility to be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination or should have passed 12th board examinationwith physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English as core subject.
Important Note :- Students who have passed Biology as an additional subject are also provisionally eligible for neet until Supreme Court gives its judgement.
-----------)Percentage required:- You must get
- at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category
- at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc
- at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.
-----------)Age limit:-to be eligible for neet one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination i. e 31st December 2021 in case of neet 2021, no upperage limit as of now.
So, if you fulfill this Criteria then you are eligible for Neet examination and after qualifying get admission in Medical colleges as well
