You must fulfil any one of the following conditions in order to be eligible for the CAT exam:

1. Bachelor’s Degree with requisite percentage of marks Or
   

2. Professional Degree with requisite percentage of marks Or

3. In the final year of Bachelor’s Degree with requisite marks percentage

I n case you are not able to fulfill any of the above criteria you can't give CAT 2018.

Hi Nihal! If you are talking about your graduation/Bachelor's degree, then it would be a problem if the duration is one year. As per the eligibility criteria, the total duration of Bachelor's degree course should be at least 3 years. Although Distance mode of learning won't be an issue, duration might be. You can also check the FAQs section of the official CAT website once the website is live for 2018.
