Hello BM.

No actually six and seven months gap is not that much huge gap. You are not going to to face any serious problem because of it. But yes I agree that there will be some problem. During placement interviewers will be asking this question for sure.

I was concerned with the primary shortlisting ,because some of those companies have criteria for not selecting students with more then certain months of gap.
