Hello,

No if you have just entered third year then you are not eligible for MAT or CAT exam. To be eligible for MAT or CAT candidate should be either in the last year or should have completed their degree. Only those candidates are eligible for MAT or CAT exam. You will be eligible in your final year for MAT and CAT exams. CAT is normally called a Common Admission Test. CAT is a National Level Entrance Examination which is conducted annually by IIMs to take admission in management programs in various B-Schools.  All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts Management Aptitude Test or popularly known as the MAT exam four times a year for admission to around 600 B-schools across India.
