Actually only the EWS certificates authorized by individuals equal to or higher than the position of Tehsildar is valid. Naib tehsildar is the rank below Tehsildar. This position is also known as Deputy Tehsildar.

The varsity has effected a 10 per cent increase in seats for the EWS category under postgraduate and undergraduate courses. Delhi University ( DU ) has released separate cut-offs for the EWS category.
