Hello student

Yes, you can still get admission in a college for a BCA degree course even if you failed in the first attempt of the math compartment exam. Here's why:

1. _Compartment exam doesn't affect overall percentage_: Your overall percentage is 56%, which is calculated based on your performance in all subjects, not just math.

2. _BCA course requirements_: Most colleges require a minimum of 40-50% marks in the 12th standard for BCA admission. You meet this criteria with your 56% overall percentage.

3. _Math compartment exam is not a barrier_: While math is a crucial subject for BCA, failing in the compartment exam doesn't necessarily disqualify you from admission. You can still apply and get admitted to a college.

However, keep in mind:

1. _Some colleges might have specific math requirements_: A few colleges might require a minimum mark in math or a pass in the math compartment exam. Check the specific requirements for each college you're interested in.

2. _You'll need to clear the compartment exam eventually_: To graduate, you'll need to clear the math compartment exam. You can reappear for the exam and clear it while pursuing your BCA course.

To increase your chances of admission:

1. _Check college-specific requirements_: Research colleges and their admission criteria.

2. _Highlight your strengths_: Emphasize your overall percentage, other academic achievements, and extracurricular activities.

3. _Prepare for re-examination_: Use this time to prepare and reappear for the math compartment exam to clear it.

Don't hesitate to reach out to colleges or their admission departments for clarification on their specific requirements. Good luck!

Hello,

Yes, you can still apply for a BCA degree course with a 56% overall percentage, even if you didn't pass the compartment exam on your first attempt. Many colleges have varying eligibility criteria, and some may consider your overall percentage for admission. It's a good idea to check the specific admission requirements of the colleges you're interested in, as they may have different policies regarding compartment exams and overall percentage.
