I have filled cbse 12th improvement form with 5 papers. if I don't appear in 2 papers.. then will my marks carry forward from previous exam Or not.?
Hello Aspirant.
Yes, your previous marks would be carried forward onto your new report card. The improvement paper you've appeared for will display the new marks whereas other will display the previous marks.
You'll need to carry 2 documents, one the original board examination marksheet and second the improvement examination marksheet.
Best of luck !
Hello Akshat kumar
First of all i would like to make you clear on the fact that if you have filled for 5 subject to be improved then either the new marks of all 5 subjects Or the old marks of all 5 subjects all together will be taken into consideration.
The cross marking like 2 subjects marks of improvement and rest from old results will not be taken.
It is based on best of two results like either the new result with 5 subjects will be taken or the old results with 5 subjects will be taken.
So coming to your question if you would miss 2 papers in improvement exam out of the 5 papers you opted improvement for than in the improvement result your two subjects will be marked as absent and you will get zero in improvement exam in those two subjects and your percentage will be taken by the 5 subjects with 2 zeroes.
Taking an example you missed two exams of physics and maths
Your improvement result will contain
Physics-0
Mathematics-0
English-90
Chemistry-90
Physical education-90
Than your total for improvement will be 270 out of 500
And let in your previous result you got 400 out of 500 than it's up to your choice which result you want to use.
But you can't take physics mathematics marks from previous result and mix it with the new marks of rest three subjects.
I hope this information would help you
All the very best for your coming exams and coming years.
THANK YOU
