I have filled wrong pincode for my NEET UG 2025 , i tried to correct it in the correction window but i cant change the pincode . What should i do? Will this cancel my application ?
Hello Riyaz,
If you have entered the wrong
pincode
in your NEET UG 2025 application and cannot change it in the correction window, don’t worry—it
won’t lead to the rejection
of your application. Pincode is considered a
minor detail
and doesn't affect your eligibility or exam process.
What you can do:
-
Leave it as it is
– Since the pincode is not a critical detail, NTA usually overlooks such minor errors unless it causes confusion in communication or document verification.
-
Contact NTA
– If you still want to clarify, you can contact NTA through their helpline at 011-40759000 or email at
neet@nta.ac.in
and explain the issue.
- Correct it during document verification – If needed, you may get a chance to update or clarify this during the counseling or admission process.
This mistake won't cancel your application or affect your exam. Just make sure that other important details like name, date of birth, and category are correct.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, then feel free to share your questions with us, we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
Wrong Pincode in NEET UG 2025 Application – What to Do?
1. Correction Not Allowed?
The NEET correction window (March 9-11, 2025) may not allow pincode changes.
2. Will It Cancel Your Application?
No, a wrong pincode won't affect your application if other details are correct.
3. What You Should Do?
Contact NTA at neet@nta.ac.in or 011-40759000 for assistance.
Ensure your email & phone number are correct for future communication.
Carry address proof (Aadhaar, ID) on the exam day if needed
Your application remains valid, but reach out to NTA for confirmation.
If you're unable to correct your pincode in the NEET UG 2025 correction window, don't panic. The National Testing Agency (NTA) provides alternative solutions for such issues.
You can contact the NTA helpdesk via phone (011-40759000) or email (mailto:neet@nta.ac.in) and explain your situation. They may guide you to submit a request for correction or provide additional instructions.
It's unlikely that your application will be cancelled due to a pincode error, but it's essential to get it corrected to ensure smooth communication and admit card delivery.
