First of all enroll yourself in amy course like Computer Science Engineering, BSc Computer Science or BCA or any other computer related course.
Meanwhile in this time learn C and C++ programming.
There are a variety of game engines that you can use to make games and build your portfolio, but I recommend Unity as it has a lower learning curve than Unreal Engine and CRYENGINE.
You can also go for courses like diploma / bachelor course in Game Art and Design / Game Development / there is few more.
